Martinette completed her dental studies at the University of Pretoria in 2008, and has received a postgraduate diploma in Implantology at the University of Pretoria.She has a keen interest in especially aesthetic dentistry, smile makeovers, as well as Implant dentistry. She enjoys the use of innovative technology that is available at the practice, such as Cerec and E4D for one-day makeovers, and 3D X-rays to plan implant cases.
Her motivation to choose dentistry as a career was to make a difference in people’s lives, to apply her dexterity and technical skills and to work in an environment that is constantly developing in all respects.
In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and a wide variety of sports. She enjoys running, swimming and cycling and therefore takes part in a number of different races as well as triathlons such as Ironman70.3. She also likes to socialise with friends and family.
