Marteleen completed her Degree in Oral Hygiene at the University of Pretoria in 2013. Before she studied Oral Hygiene, she worked as a dental assistant and studied part-time through TUT, where she achieved her Dental Assistant Diploma – her love for the dental industry is quite evident.
She was born and bred in Centurion and got married to Johan in 2014. They have a very cute little boy, named Kihan that keeps them busy all the time!
She is also the practice manager of 1,2 Smile and has been part of the team for 3 years and you will mostly find her at our practice in Bryanston. She has a passion for preventative oral hygiene programs, which includes visiting pre-schools to educate the little ones and also have a soft spot for the elderly.
When Marteleen is not working, she likes to spend time with family and friends, loves a bushveld getaway relaxing next to the campfire, and playing with her two 4-legged-children!
